Gipf Project World Championship

Who can participate: anyone

The results of this event will be included in Pentamind for the game of Gipf Project if at least 8 players take part in it. For the purposes of Pentamind this is a -block event.

You can learn and train the game in the Ludotheque.

It is not necessary register in advance.

Criteria:	1. accumulated wins 2. In case of an equal score, the tie breaker will be the number of times a player scored 6 points. If there’s still no difference, then the tie breaker will be the number of times a player scored 5 points, etc.
Note:	We celebrate 10 years of unique gaming project in Czech republic by organizing first Word Championship in all Project GIPF games at the same time. The author of the project Kris Burm comes to organize the tournaments in all his six games: Gipf, Tzaar, Zertz, Dvonn, Yinsh a Pünct. Not only that we distribute prizes in total value of over € 2500, we also give out trophies and board games. Despite of the high prestige of the tournament we heartily welcome any player willing to explore the wonderful world of logical games of GIPF project. The championship consists of 6 separate tournaments in the following games: Dvonn, Gipf, Pünct , Tzaar , Yinsh , Zertz . It is not necessary to enter all tournaments of the project. The score of each player for each of the Project GIPF tournaments will be ad up, regardless the number of tournaments played. In other words, the more tournaments you play, the more chances you have to score points. The player with the highest score will be the first Project GIPF World Champion. The ceremony will take place right after the finish of the last Project GIPF tournament, Sunday October 5, at about 14h30. Compensation travel costs: from neighbouring countries € 100 (only 4 - 5 tournaments € 50), from other European Countries € 150 (only 4 - 5 tournaments € 75), from other continent € 250 (only 4 - 5 tournaments € 150). Prizes:	1st prize: € 250 (app 5800 Kč)
	2nd prize: € 200 (app 4660 Kč)
	3rd prize: € 150 (app 3500 Kč)
	4th place: € 100 (app 2330 Kč), 5th place € 50 (app 1160 Kč) The TOP 3 players will get a trophy. Prize money will be split amongst players with the same score.
	The prizes indicated will be awarded if there are at least 10 participants! Besides the prizes, the 3 best players will get a medal and a diploma.
