Czech Scrabble Main Tournament

This event took place in the years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.

The event takes place 04.10.2003 14:00 - 05.10.2003 13:00.

Who can participate: anyone

The results of this event will be included in Pentamind for the game of Scrabble if at least 8 players take part in it. For the purposes of Pentamind this is a -block event.

You can learn and train the game in the Ludotheque.

Playing system:	swiss system, initial pairing according to ČAS rating (new players 1400)
Criteria:	score, TurČAS
Number of rounds:	11
Playing tempo:	2 min a move, 40 min a game + finish
Note:	Players are allowed to enter the second day without taking part in the first. Playability of words according to the plus version (inflected nouns etc.) Entry fee includes a baguette.

Entry fee:	Unfortunately, the deadline for early registrations has passed. The following rates apply to late registrations:
	CZK 350 standard
	CZK 300 reduced
	CZK 225 children up to 15 years
	“reduced” = students, seniors, disabled, members of organizing body, pregnant women
Prizes:	1st prize: CZK 1000
	2nd prize: CZK 700
	3rd prize: CZK 400
	400 (The fourth prize will be split among players who achieve the same number of points as the fourth player.) Small prizes in side competitions (the highest-value move, the highest score, the best-ranked newbie...)
	The prizes indicated will be awarded if there are at least 10 participants! Besides the prizes, the 3 best players will get a medal and a diploma.
