Czech Scrabble Main Tournament

The event takes place on Saturday 01.10.2005 9:00 - 18:00.
Who can participate: anyone
The results of this event will be included in Pentamind for the game of Scrabble if at least 8 players take part in it. For the purposes of Pentamind this is a 3-block event.
You can learn and train the game in the Ludotheque.

| Note: | The Plus variant will be played (Czech Scrabble including cases and transgressives). Self-service word eligibility will be applied in the first instance. This tournament serves at the same time as the first part of Scrabble Marathon, which will continue immediately after the announcing of the results of the first nine rounds. Players who wish to play the Marathon need to register for both the events. For details, see Scrabble Marathon. As the deadline for advance payment has passed, now (September 30th) the prices quoted here are those valid for payments on-site (i.e., no 33% discount). The original entry fees (110/100/90/50 CZK) were bound to the following method of registration and payment: you must use the web form to register, and pay no later than September 28, 2005 via wire transfer to the account number 109484555/0300, using the variable symbol you get after you submit the registration form. Other ways of registration and payment (including on-site) are possible but strongly discouraged, as they create additional work for us. The tournament capacity may be limited due to the number of playing sets, timers and tables available. Food is not included in the entry fee. Bring your own sandwiches, as there will not be breaks long enough to hunt for something in the neighborhood. Nevertheless, hot and cold drinks (packed water, lemonade, tea, instant coffee) will be provided. The organizer of the tournament does not provide lodging. If you need one, ask the organizers of the whole festival for help, or make your own arrangements, both well in advance (we recommend you start immediately). | |||||||||
